The farmhouse has four beautifully decorated en-suite bedrooms
and a private suite with superb views of the Elandskloof Mountains.
In addition a comfortable reading room, large lounge with a fireplace,
intimate bar, cosy dining room and spacious verandas to sit on and
enjoy the country air, add to the experience of quality and enjoyment.
The cuisine is exceptional and served in the grand manner of a bygone era.
Guided morning excursions provide guests with an overall experience of
life on a productive wheat and sheep farm. An evening safari in the
nature reserve reveals a considerable diversity of wild animal species,
which were once common in this area. These include black wildebeest,
mountain zebra, eland, gemsbok, red hartebeest, springbok and the highly
endangered geometric tortoise. Walks in the mountains reveal the
spectacular array of birds and the unique Cape fynbos, which is the
smallest and most species diverse of the six floral kingdoms of the
world. The nature reserve is of great ecological importance as it
preserves the largest cohesive section of Renosterveld that remains
in the Western Cape.
