Gorges Lodge
Batoka Gorge

Gorges Lodge is located overlooking the rapids of the Zambezi River and the Batoka Gorge through which the river carves its way downstream. The lodge is located on the ridge of the gorge with the chalets and central lodge having magnificent views of this spectacular environment.

The lodge consists of 10 chalets, each en-suite and offering all the required necessities within each chalet. Each chalet also has its own verandah with a unique view of the gorge and the river below, from where you can watch as the river rafters and boarders challenge the rapids of the Zambezi.

The lodge is in a community region and as part of Zimbabwe's Campfire program the communities benefit from tourism revenue for the lodge and the surrounding areas. The Victoria Falls are obviously a tremendous drawcard with a number of activities attracting both the adrenaline junky and those wishing to view the falls and take a leisurely cruise up the Zambezi. The lodge can also organise game drives through the Zambezi National Park.
