Set high atop the cliffs, looking down on the Save River in southeastern Zimbabwe is Chilo Gorge Safari Lodge. Here, on the edge of the Gona-re-Zhou, Zimbabwe’s second largest National Park, guests can truly feel part of the untamed Africa. Also in this area are the majestic Chilojo Cliffs, form an impressive backdrop to the meandering Runde River. |
In contrast to the wild outdoors, the fourteen thatched lodges are comfortably furnished and are decorated to reflect the culture of the Shangaan people. Each lodge is set high over the river gorge with glassed doors opening onto a private balcony, with spectacular views of the river and gorge. |
