Ocean Adventures offers specialist Whale and Dolphin encounters giving guests the opportunity of a lifetime – to experience these marine creatures in their own environment. On each Ecological and Educational boat tour guests will have the added bonus of listening to these wonderful mammals and their amazing songs underwater using a hydrophone. It’s an experience never to be forgotten!

Founded by David Rissik who travelled and worked extensively overseas to further his knowledge of Dolphins and Whales and Marine Conservation, Ocean Adventures is the original company in South Africa to conduct Professional Conservation orientated Whale and Dolphin Watching Boat tours. The experienced, friendly and enthusiastic guides are a mine of information - knowledgeable not only about Whales and Dolphins, but also seals, sharks, fish and the pelagic seabird life, fascinating geological surroundings and the historical happenings of this ancient bay. These tours can be the most overwhelming, awe-inspiring experience and are truly unforgettable.

Our tours consist of 2 ½ to 3 hour ecological adventures to seek these wild cetaceans and experience the marine environment while cruising near the shore line and then heading out to the open sea. We cover about 40 km of varying coastal and ocean environment in custom-built craft fully equipped for comfort and safety and approved by the Marine Authorities.

As they are wild mammals and we are visiting them in their own territory, we are very aware of not encroaching on them and we strive to ensure that they remain totally wild and unharassed.
