A luxury lodge nestling on the banks of the Great Zambezi River, about 35 kilometres upstream from Victoria Falls, Kubu Cabins takes its name from the hippos frequently seen in front of the Lodge.

The lodge has several exclusive thatched wooden cabins, three double cabins, one family/group cabin and a luxury honeymoon suite right on the edge of the river. The bar, dining room and lounge are mounted on stilts with a fantastic view of the river. Across the river, is the Zambezi National Park. Elephant, hippo, baboons, and antelope may often be seen coming down to the banks. Close by is a sparkling swimming pool.

Kubu Cabins offers the best food in Livingstone. Venison, crocodile and Muscovy duck are regularly on the menu. Vegetarians are also catered for.
