Klein's Camp is set on the edge of the Kuka Hills and commands breathtaking views of the valley through which pass migratory herds of wildebeest and zebra. The majestic elephant rules this landscape, moving in numbers unequalled anywhere else in the Serengeti. Klein's is 23 kilometres from the Kenyan border. The Grumeti River flows near the camp, then lunges west past secluded Grumeti River Camp, on the far western side of the Serengeti.

The Klein's concession accommodates a maximum of 20 camp residents, in every sense the ultimate private Tanzanian safari and your own, personal piece of Africa.

The camp contains just ten intimate, turn-of-the-century style cottages of local rock and thatch. The rich wooden floors and serene, classic interiors are reminiscent of the heydays of rugged safaris. Each spacious cottage has an en-suite bathroom. With showerheads the size of a dinner platter, our spacious enclosed showers offer you the sensory equivalent of an indoor cloudburst! From each private terrace, a diversity of resident wildlife, including elephant, may be viewed in the valley.

Day and night safaris in open safari vehicles are led by experienced rangers and guides. These expeditions venture into the Serengeti, where you are guaranteed the thrill of elephants browsing just a few feet from the vehicle or marching through the savannah woodlands along the Grumeti River near the camp. Klein's Camp offers a fantastic variety of experiences including night drives, off-road driving and game walks on a private concession combined with game viewing in the game-rich Serengeti.
